| The mission of the Corporate Relations Department is as follows: |
1. making the School more accessible and visible for companies, providing a training environment for their future executives,
managers, and directors;
2. enabling students to quickly find work which meets their expectations;
3. opening up businesses to faculty, enriching their teaching by practical illustrations. |

| Created in 1990 to meet the needs of business, ESC Rennes was quick to realise that company competitiveness was dependent on high-quality training provided in an international environment with close links between the business world and that of the School. |
| Since 2005, the ESC Rennes School of Business has streamlined its links with business by bringing together Company Relations and Execution Education into a single department. The department's objective is to create ever-closer ties between the school and the business world by maximising the involvement of managers following diploma courses in the life of the school, particularly those on the Executive MBA course. Undergoing this training in a Graduate School of Business adds to executives' professional performance by giving them a fresh perspective and a sense of critical distance." |
