International skills: a day-to-day fact of life at ESC Rennes. |
| Pr. Laurence Lambert |
| Director, International Relations |
|
| "ESC Rennes is committed to affirming its distinctive international identity as both a French "Grande Ecole" and a British-recognised institution accredited by the Open University. This characteristic is a key structural element of the School's personality which is reflected in its day-to-day life: |
| •
students from over 40 nations
work together, cooperating on
projects in multi-national groups,
following classes in English,
and learning from each others'
approaches to work. |
| •
80% of the faculty are from overseas;
together with their colleagues
from around the world, staff work
together on research and teaching
projects, travel to teach on our
Chinese and Egyptian campuses,
oversee student projects, teach
and take part in business meetings
in both French and English. |
|
| •
In addition, international business
placements and time spent studying overseas
are an integral part of student curricula.
As part of our active partnerships with
over 100 Business Schools worldwide,
over 500 students travel to or from
Rennes to pursue their studies in a
different nation. |
| This openness to the international scene reflects the increasingly global nature of company life, in which the ability to work as part of a multicultural team is an essential attribute. |
